It certainly is a sad state of affairs AND this is one of the reasons I truly believe that we need to expand the education paradigm to provide the foundational education elements AND entrepreneurial education elements – Education is important, but applied education is more valuable. How can we better prepare ourselves for the new economic times we are in? Part of that is to understand that maybe the traditional path of working in corporate America for 40-50 years and expecting everything else to be taken care of are dead. We truly are living in a time of great need and because of that we are also in a time of great opportunity – the key is that the opportunities are int he same places as they were in the past and we need to look differently and think differently. Those of who successfully do that will flourish by serving the needs of society at this deeper level. This part of what we talk about at my Business Breakthrough Academy (www.BusinessBreakthroughAcademy.com). Entrepreneurship is America’s path back to prosperity it is what has created this great country and will recreate our greatness!
